VACATION! THIS IS THE WORD every student loves to hear. The time to relax and do nothing. However, as days pass by during vacation, we usually become bored for not doing anything worthwhile. So how can we spend our vacation in a significant and enjoyable way?
Well, here are some things that you can do—activities in which you can help, learn, and most importantly have fun!
1. Spend time with your family and friends.
I believe that vacations will be ‘wasted’ if you will not get a chance to bond with your family or friends. Try to plan some outdoor activities or even an out-of-town trip with them. I assure you this will be an enjoyable experience for all of you.
2. Volunteer in a community service.
I know, I know. A lot of you may think that this could be the worst thing to do during vacation. But think of the things you can do to help your community. Being a responsible citizen is by mile much better than getting trapped at home doing nothing.
For someone who loves reading, this is the best way to spend vacations. The world of words would open your eyes to the broader knowledge about the universe simply by turning book pages. To those who hate reading, at least try. Spend some of your free time knowing more about the world. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it... even a little bit.
4. Join workshops.
A lot of people join music, dance, and acting workshops during vacations. It is a way to learn and have fun at the same time. So, do you have a talent?? Why not spend your vacation enhancing it.
5. Prepare for school.
Yes, I agree with you. This is the last thing you would want to do during vacations. But trust me on this one, spending even a tiny part of your vacation for this could mean a lot. As we all know, cramming is not a good way to go.
I guess the list is a little short, but I would love to do all those things during my vacation. It’s just a pity that I will have summer classes at the end of this school year…
Enjoy everyone. Happy vacation!
